About Me

I am a computational engineer working at the Mechanical Engineering Department and the Zienkiewicz Institute for Modelling, Data and AI at Swansea University, UK.

Research Interests

My research focuses on the intersection of three main areas:

• Fluid flow networks and their regulation
• Vascular mechanobiology and microenvironmental interactions
• Heat and mass transfer in biomedical and energy applications

Our computational models quantify and interpret biological processes in the brain, enabling improved diagnosis and treatment of neurological diseases. My current research projects include:

• Quantification of the haemodynamic forces across cerebral murine microcirculation; funded through EPSRC DTP 23-26
• Estimation of cerebrovascular stiffness and microvascular resistance in ageing humans; funded through MRC IAA 25-26
